TEXAS CPR TRAINING

What is CPR?

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, or CPR, is a vital emergency technique used when someone’s heart or breathing has stopped, often due to cardiac arrest, drowning, or similar emergencies. CPR combines chest compressions and rescue breaths to keep blood and oxygen flowing to the brain and other organs, increasing the chances of survival until professional medical help arrives.
Every year, over 350,000 cardiac arrests happen outside of hospitals in the United States alone. Immediate CPR can double or even triple a person’s chance of survival in these critical situations. However, only about 46% of people who suffer out-of-hospital cardiac arrests receive the help they need before medical personnel arrive, often due to a lack of training among bystanders.
By learning CPR, you gain the ability to respond effectively in an emergency and significantly increase the chance of saving a life. In our CPR courses, we focus on practical, hands-on training so you can feel confident in performing CPR and making a real difference when every second counts.

Automated External Defibrillators (AED)

An Automated External Defibrillator, or AED, is a portable device used to treat sudden cardiac arrest (SCA). The AED analyzes the heart’s rhythm and, if needed, delivers an electric shock to help restore a normal heartbeat. Designed to be easy to use, AEDs provide clear, step-by-step instructions, allowing even non-medical bystanders to act quickly in emergencies. Using an AED within the first few minutes of cardiac arrest can significantly increase a person’s chance of survival, making it a critical tool in lifesaving efforts.
